QIB

Quadram Institute Bioscience (QIB) is part of the bioscience cluster based at the Norwich Research Park. The institute explores interactions between food and the gut microbiome, linking to promotion of health and prevention of disease. Two strategic research programmes of QIB focus on the areas of “Food, Microbiome and Health” and “Microbes and Food Safety”. In NUTRIMIND, QIB leads the work on dietary data standardisation and harmonisation and the work on microbiome sequencing, multi-omics integration, and analyses linking microbiome and mental health.
