Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) is Slovenia’s largest public research organisation. Its Computer Systems Department (CSD) specialises in machine learning, natural language processing, automation, data analytics, advanced computing, efficient large-scale algorithms, and human-computer interaction. Its research develops self-adaptive systems and optimises complex systems for healthcare, nutrition, bioinformatics, mobility, energy, and manufacturing. In NUTRIMIND, JSI leads the development of AI models for personalised, bias-aware, explainable predictions linking diet, microbiome and mental health.
